These workshops offer a warm, non-competitive atmosphere in which to nurture your creativity. The beauty of the environment will inspire you. The activities and comradeship will stimulate you. The writing exercises are hilarious fun. And I promise that as we throw away the concept of product and concentrate on process you'll be amazed at what you will have accomplished by the end of the week!
About Me While there are many excellent writers, there are few gifted teachers. Teaching deeply excites me. Drawing on my acting experience, I enjoy helping people find voices which may be poetic, daring or just plain funny! I understand the gradations and subtleties which the writing process entails and create a warm, supportive and fun atmosphere.
My Mississippi upbringing, extensive travel and living abroad provide a unique perspective in facilitating others' creative writing. I studied acting and writing in New York and received an MA in French Literature from NYU in Paris, where I lived for eight years and taught improvisation and writing workshops.
