Nightwriters' logo is "small seminars in creative settings for people who need to write it down." In 2008 this includes a May seminar at the Bishop's Ranch in Healdsburg, California.
Wherever Nightwriters retreats are held the formula remains the same: a serene, comfortable setting, with excellent teaching, family style living, and a schedule that is intensive but preserves the necessary illusion that one has all the time in the world to relax, reflect and write.

Nightwriters now offers a writer's cottage with an editor attached. Designed for the individual who wants to get away for a week or more to focus upon a particular project, the cottage is located on the property of Nightwriters' founder, Phyllis Theroux's house in Ashland, Virginia.
