Includes workshops, readings, craft talks, individual conference, social events.

Eighth Annual Palm Beach Poetry Festival

January 16-21, 2012
Presented in partnership with Old School Square Cultural Arts Center in the heart of downtown Delray Beach, Florida

Eight poetry workshops taught by Kim Addonizio, Cornelius Eady, Claudia Emerson, David Kirby, Thomas Lu, Gregory Orr, Chase Twichell and Eleanor Wilner feature twelve hours of workshop participation, free admission to faculty readings and with Vanessa Hidary, Jamaal May, and special guest Charles Wright, as well as to the festival gala cocktail-dinner party. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to read their poems at a free event open to the public.

Readings and craft talks take place in the beautiful and intimate Crest Theatre at Old School Square. Restaurants, art galleries, the Delray Beach Public Library are steps away. Gorgeous beaches are less than a five minute drive.

Each workshop is limited to twelve qualified participants and three auditors. Join poets from all over the world in Palm Beach Country where careful attention to your work will help you generate new poems and improve your process of revision going forward.

You can now apply on-line for a workshop on our website at http://www.palmbeachpoetryfestival.org. For further information contact srw@palmbeachpoetryfestival.org, or call 561-868-2063.
