11th Annual Palm Beach Poetry Festival

January 18-23, 2016
Presented in partnership with Delray Beach Center for The Arts in the heart of downtown Delray Beach, Florida

Eight poetry workshops taught by Laure-Anne Bosselaar, Carl Dennis, Denise Duhamel, Carol Frost, Thomas Lux, Tom Sleigh, Mary Szybist and Kevin Young. Participant tuition includes workshop participation, and admission to all festival events. Special Guest is Robert Hass, U.S. Poet Laureate (1995-1997), Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winner. Other featured poets include Dominique Christina and Marc Kelly Smith, and conference faculty, Sally Bliumis-Dunn, and Ginger Murchison.

Readings and craft talks take place in the beautiful and intimate Crest Theatre at Delray Beach Center for the Arts. Restaurants, art galleries, shops, and the Delray Beach Public Library are steps away. Gorgeous beaches are less than a five minute drive.

Each workshop is limited to twelve qualified participants and three auditors. Join poets from all over the world in Palm Beach County where careful attention to your work will help you generate new poems and improve your process of revision going forward.

You can now apply on-line for a workshop on our website at http://www.palmbeachpoetryfestival.org. For further information contact srw@palmbeachpoetryfestival.org, or call 561-868-2063.
