10th Annual San Miguel Writers' Conference and Literary Festival


February 11-15, 2015

San Miguel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a city steeped in beauty and history, extremely tranquil, and far from border issues. Long a mecca for writers, artists, and musicians from Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and beyond: "The Creative Crossroads of the Americas."

Featuring: Gloria Steinem, Alice Walker, Scott Turow, Tracy Chevalier, Jane Urquhart, Ángeles Mastretta and poet Richard Blanco

  • Seven 90 minute workshops (choose from 54 and main stage panels)

Concurrent morning and afternoon sessions include topics such as fiction, non-fiction, travel writing, screen writing, poetry, short story, mystery and crime fiction, memoir and personal essay, young adult, feature articles, editing and self-editing, both conventional and self-publishing, agents, book proposals, and more.
