NEW YORK PITCH CONFERENCE AND ALGONKIAN WRITER CONFERENCES - REVIEWS AND EVENTS _________
Are We Unique Among Writers Conferences?
The Algonkian goal is to assist you in becoming a career author by doing everything necessary to set you on a realistic path to publication. Among other things, all novel and prose critique is provided exclusively by professionals, not unpublished writers. Each writer receives comprehensive pre-event assignments and readings, and at all events, meets with the best literary agents and acquisition editors. As a bonus, our writers learn how to properly pitch professionals in advance. Our ratio of writers to pros averages 15 to 1 in workshops, and our registration fees are among the most reasonable in the business. See our "Event Comparisons" page on our Algonkian website to review a complete listing of unique features.
We work with most genres, and our many success stories are found on our website. Upcoming events this year, and next, include the New York Pitch Conference, the Santa Barbara Author-Mentor, the Write to Market Conference, and the Algonkian Novel Workshop. All of these events, and much more, can be found on our Algonkian Writer Conferences website.
Agents, Authors, and Dedicated Algonkian Alum talk about their experience with Algonkian writers conferences and events. Reviews and interviews, mails and forum talk. ____________________________________________________
