Your mini low-residency. Pre and post study. Edit with us now, conference with us in NYC.

Ready to take your writing to NYC? We will help you every step of the way. We aim to help you bring your manuscript from desk to reading venue to marketplace.

The Writer’s Hotel Master Class is a hybrid. TWH is part residency and part conference with all the important components of low residency mentorship built in. TWH is the only writing conference with a pre-conference editing service. We work with all of our writers pre-conference, much like low-residency MFA programming. We help edit target manuscripts before the conference, and even work with writers afterwards for two weeks.
Our classes and lectures take place at a sort of "floating campus" in Midtown, NYC at Library Hotel and The Bryant Park Hotel.

Writers participate in intense craft workshops and attend lectures, literary events and agent speed dating. NYC literary history is brought to life by the walking tours we offer, led by NYPL and the Dorothy Parker Society. We also host a spectacular game of Wink, Murder at the Algonquin. And on our weekend reading nights, each writer has the extraordinary opportunity to read their own original work in the city, at great venues including The Bowery (poetry) and KGB Bar Lit's Red Room and Book Culture (prose). Faculty reads at The Half King and Kinokuniya. Deadline is April 17, 2015. Space is limited.
