Keynoter Natalie Goldberg (Writing Down The Bones: Freeing the Writer Within) will speak on Saturday October 2nd at 1:00 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
A well-established conference and regional favorite, WRITE ON THE SOUND presents over thirty workshops by noted authors, educators, and trade professionals who share their talents and literary visions.
A variety of intimate, high quality workshops offer an affordable experience for writers of all levels. Pre-conference workshops are offered on Friday afternoon. In addition to two full days of workshops on Saturday and Sunday, the conference features a keynote address, on-site book shop, manuscript critique appointments, and a themed writing contest. On Saturday evening, relax and get to know fellow writers and conference presenters at a book signing and casual reception overlooking the sunset on Puget Sound.
Edmonds, known as an arts community, is located 20 minutes north of Seattle, 45 minutes from SeaTac airport. With outstanding views of the water and the Olympic Mountains to the west, Edmonds has a charming downtown with a variety of specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, and a regional performing arts center.
