Experience an autumn weekend of literary inspiration on the beautiful shores of Puget Sound.    OCTOBER 4-6, 2013   28th ANNUAL  A well-established conference and regional favorite, WRITE ON THE SOUND presents over thirty workshops by noted authors, educators, and trade professionals who share their talents and literary visions.     A variety of intimate, high quality workshops offer an affordable experience for writers of all levels. Pre-conference workshops are offered on Friday afternoon. In addition to two full days of workshops on Saturday and Sunday, the conference features a keynote address, on-site book shop, manuscript critique appointments, and a themed writing contest. On Saturday evening, relax and get to know fellow writers and conference presenters at a book signing and casual reception overlooking the sunset on Puget Sound.    Edmonds, known as an arts community, is located 20 minutes north of Seattle, 45 minutes from SeaTac airport. With outstanding views of the water and the Olympic Mountains to the west, Edmonds has a charming downtown with a variety of specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, and a regional performing arts center.&lt;BR&gt; Focus is on the craft of writing. 4 sessions day   a choice of 4 workshops sessions within each time slot, Saturday keynote, reception, pre-conference critique sessions   workshops on Friday, writing contest.&lt;BR&gt;
