Program Description The Summer Writers Institute is an intensive, two-week program featuring workshops with esteemed faculty and published authors. Writers benefit from individual conferences with faculty and exclusive out-of-class sessions exploring each genre.

Faculty The 2018 Faculty List features David Schuman: Micro Fiction; Kent Shaw: Poetry; Kathleen Finneran: Advanced Personal Narrative; Deborah Taffa: Personal Narrative; Colin Bassett: Personal Narrative; and Eileen G'Sell: Culture Writing: Travel, Food, Media.
Costs Total cost of the Summer Writers Institute is $1,995. Adults over the age of 60 qualify for half tuition. Benefits-eligible staff qualify for the University's tuition benefit. Housing is available on campus at an additional fee.
