  Moravian  Writers’ Conference, June 5-6, 2015

Set on main campus of Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, the Moravian Writers’ Conference offers a focus on community and attention to craft. The conference provides writers of all genres and levels the opportunity to focus on their work and breathe new life into their writing.

Featuring a keynote presentation by author Beth Kephart, the conference also includes workshops in fiction (novel and short story), YA fiction, nonfiction, poetry; additional single-day workshops on narrative in business writing and story sharing activities for teachers. Published writers in a range of genres will present talks on the writing life, and publishers and agents will discuss the state of publishing today.

Faculty and speakers include keynote speaker Beth Kephart, special guest A.S. King, Beverly Donofrio, Ruth Knafo Setton, Lee Upton, BJ Ward, Paul Acampora, Javier Ávila, Josh Berk, Mark Harris, Nic Esposito, Bathsheba Monk, Catherine Moore, Stephanie Powell Watts, literary agents Bridget Smith (Dunham Literary, Inc.) and Jennifer Udden (Donald Maass Literary Agency), and more.

Conference fee of $190 includes workshop, craft talks, panel discussions and presentation by literary agents; readings by our keynote speaker and workshop faculty; interview and Q&A with Beth Kephart and A.S. King; welcome reception Friday, and lunch buffet Sunday. Affordable on-campus housing also available.
