August. A RIVER OF ONE'S OWN, 17th Annual River Writing Journey for Women Featuring Special Guest Actor & Playwright Ellen McLaughlin. 6 days. Colorado River, Cataract Canyon, Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Outfitted by Sheri Griffith Expeditions. SGE provides all equipment, including tents, sleeping bags, fresh cooked meals, etc. Fabulous SGE women guides do all the cooking and rowing. October. WEAVING WORDS & WOMEN, a Peruvian Adventure. A Cultural Immersion into Peru the ancient, the sacred, the everyday world of women. Discover the Sacred Valley, Patacancha, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. Watch the nimble fingers of the women weavers with their vibrant strands of wool. Open the pages of your journal and weave your own tapestry with words.
