Offered February 5-8, 2009, Writers Studio at UCLA Extension is an intensive four days of instruction and writing. Participants choose one of 10 workshops in which they work closely with a professional writer in classes limited to no more than 20.
Writers Studio is presented by the UCLA Extension Writers' Program, the largest curriculum of its kind in the country (over 550 courses annually). In the Writers' Program, you can attend courses taught by successful novelists, working screenwriters, playwrights, poets, creative nonfiction writers, and writers of children's literature; develop your writing talents in our Certificate Programs in Creative Writing, Feature Film Writing, and Television Writing; hone your skills in our nine-month, limited enrollment Master Classes in Novel Writing and Screenwriting; obtain one-on-one critiques of your work with our Manuscript Consultation Services; and pursue your writing goals through our numerous online offerings.
