Offered February 7-10, 2013, Writers Studio at UCLA Extension is an intensive four days of instruction and writing. Participants choose one of 10 workshops in which they work closely with a professional writer in classes limited to no more than 15.
A special early-bird discount rate of $805 is available for all Studio enrollments received through January 8, 2012. Beginning January 9th, the Writers Studio fee is $895.

As the largest and most comprehensive university-related writing program in the nation, the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program equips all levels of creative writers and screenwriters with the tools they need to tell their stories and to seek out publication and production. Our almost 450 annual onsite and online writing courses in fiction, memoir, personal essays, poetry, publishing, writing for the youth market, feature film writing and television writing make it possible for students to discover or develop their full creative potential. Many courses are available online as well as in a traditional classroom setting, where evening, daytime, and weekend offerings make learning convenient for most people’s schedules.
