“YOUR VOICE AS A WRITER IS THE SUM OF ALL THE CHOICES YOU MAKE.” – Gary Provost
Whether you are a proficient writer or a rookie at your first workshop, you can find the tools to assist you in your work, and a team of instructors who will share their knowledge and experience with you.

New York Times bestselling author Robin Burcell, co-author of Gray Ghost, a Sam and Remi Fargo adventure, will be guest instructor; Arianne “Tex” Thompson, Jason Sitzes, and Carol Dougherty will round out the staff. Additional staff will be announced later. All will meet one-on-one with students.

“My friend says any workshop/retreat/conference that offers one nugget of insight is worth its weight in gold. If so, the Writers Retreat Workshop made me a wealthy woman.” – Michalea M.

The Wake Up and Write Writer’s Retreat Workshop is now combined with the original Writers Retreat Workshop, co-founded by Gary and Gail Provost in 1987. Both are now under the umbrella (and website) of Wake Up and Write WRW.

Writers Retreat Workshop is a 10-day/9-night boot camp for writers; combining classes, one-on-one meetings, diagnostic sessions, and writing time. If you are an aspiring novelist looking for in-depth feedback on your work as well as dedicated time for writing, this is the writing retreat for you!
