The Wake Up and Write Writer’s Retreat Workshop is now combined with the original Writers Retreat Workshop, co-founded by Gary and Gail Provost in 1987. Both are now under the umbrella (and website) of Wake Up and Write WRW.

This October we have the great pleasure of offering students the opportunity to study with the author of STORY GENIUS and WIRED FOR STORY, Lisa Cron. Lisa's approach to finding and working with the heart of your story will turn you and your story world upside down and inside out, and you will come away with a greater understanding of your own work.

Agent Caitlin McDonald from the Donald Maass Literary Agency will also join us to talk about how to work with an agent and the process of publishing your book.

We will dig deeply into the heart and soul of your work in progress while ensconced in an old Main Line mansion outside Philadelphia, where you will enjoy the peaceful retreat atmosphere of St. Raphaela Center. Find inspiration in the natural surroundings of the center and bask in the comfort provided by the rocking chair in your room.

We hope that every writer who attends the workshop will be challenged, inspired, encouraged, and surprised.

It's about dreams...
It's about drive...
It's about time.
