Patchwork Farm Retreat, cared for by Patricia Lee Lewis, M.F.A., offers creative writing and yoga workshops and retreats on a mountainside in western Massachusetts and at sacred sites around the world.
The writing practice provides beginning and experienced writers with a supportive, encouraging context in which to write and is designed after the method developed by Patricia's mentor, Pat Schneider, founder of Amherst Writers & Artists, in which Patricia is a lead trainer.
Participants are offered writing prompts designed to encourage vivid, passionate, honest writing from images, memories and feelings. They are invited to read their work aloud; to respond to the work of others with what is strong, what is working. They write with greater confidence, skill, and joy.
