The Myth of Innocence: Childhood as Cultural Phenomenon

The culmination of more than a decade of cooperation with Prague's Charles University, the Prague Summer Program offers writers the opportunity to be mentored by some of the most prestigious authors of contemporary English-language literature. The eager novice and seasoned professional alike are mentored with equal seriousness and respect. For the month of July participants are members of a unique and vital cultural community.
Faculty Creative writing workshops, limited to 12 participants, are offered in fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and scriptwriting/playwriting. The 2008 faculty and guests include Robert Eversz, Stu Dybek, Robert Olen Butler, Richard Katrovas, Jack Myers, Roger Weingarten, Cynthia Hogue, Alison Deming, Robin Hemley, Lee Gutkind, Arnie Johnston & Debbie Percy.
