TONY HILLERMAN WRITERS CONFERENCE: FOCUS ON MYSTERY

James Rollins, New York Times best-selling author of the new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull joins us a keynote speaker, panelist and breakout presenter. 2008 Edgar winner Sandi Ault talks about how to be your own editor. Double Agatha nominee Pari Noskin Taichert offers advice on marketing yourself and your book. Mystery writer Michael McGarrity, author of the beloved Kevin Kerney series, opens the conference with Breaking the Mold: Mysteries in the 21st Century. Other presenters include Judith Van Gieson, Craig Johnson, Steve Havill, Joe Badal,Poisoned Pen's Barbara Peters and Christine Barber, winner of the Hillerman Prize. Book signings, the opportunity to pitch your manuscript to an agent, and an on-site contest add to the fun.
