Robert Vaughan's Write on the Beach Writers' Retreat
Inspiration by the Sea
It is a beach, a house, great food, stimulating company, and your opportunity to work with one of America's most prolific authors, Robert Vaughan, at his private beachside home near Gulf Shores, Alabama.
These week-long workshops are limited to three writers. You will have a private room and bath, all meals, and the opportunity for in-depth consultation on your work in progress. You will enjoy the ambience of other writers, interesting conversations around the dining table, and productive brainstorming sessions from Robert Vaughan's forty years of experience as an award-winning and best-selling author.
Your Instructor Robert Vaughan sold his first novel when he was 19 years old. Since that time he has sold nearly 300 novels, making him one of America's most prolific authors. He won the Porgie Award in 1976 for Best Paperback Original Novel, the Spur Award in 1994 for Best Western Novel, and was inducted into the Writers Hall of Fame in America in 1996. Writing under his own name and 42 pseudonyms, Robert has hit the Best Sellers Lists of The New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and USA Today. His book Andersonville was a mini-series on TNT and his documentary, Vietnam--The Long Journey Home, aired on the History Channel last summer. Robert has a long and successful history of working with pre-published writers and has conducted seminars at numerous colleges, universities, and writers conferences.
